The most famous residents of the park are the pelicans! They are remarkably tame. They like to be stroked and regulary sit next to people on the park benches. There is pelican feeding every day at 1.30pm.

Park Geese
These are the birds that I saw on my walk in the park this morning.
This I believe is a Lesser Snow Goose. It seems to be alone and spends its time with the Red Breasted Geese pictured below.
Another bird that appears to be on its own is this Emperor Goose.
